 SwaffhamLocated just 4 miles South of Castle Acre, Swaffham is a historic market town offering a variety of shops and services.  Wind TurbinesSwaffham is currently home to 2 large wind turbines, owned an operated by the green energy company, Ecotricity. The turbines are something of a local landmark, and on a clear day can be seen from as far away as Knights Hill in King's Lynn and Elgar's Wood in West Rudham. KingdomSwaffham has recently acquired another claim to fame in being the primary filming location for the ITV television series, Kingdom. Locations used within the town include Oakleigh House and the Greyhound pub (renamed "The Startled Duck"). The show stars Stephen Fry as Peter Kingdom, a Norfolk-based solicitor, and was also partly filmed in Hunstanton, Wells-next-the-Sea, East Dereham and Thetford.
